Radiant Music Culture

Write for us

We welcome pitches that make one precise part of music culture easier to see: an instrument's role, a recording format's trade-offs, a listening custom, a piece of music history or a thoughtful account of making and sharing music.

What makes a good pitch

Send a concise proposal with a working title, the reader question, the central idea and why it matters beyond a passing trend. Explain what your piece would add that a general overview would not. A clear comparison, careful explanation or well-bounded historical subject is more useful than a broad claim about what music means.

A grounded approach

We value accurate terminology, a distinct point of view and fair treatment of alternatives. Tell us what sources or experience would inform the piece, and flag any commercial connection relevant to the subject. Do not present personal preference as universal fact.

How to send it

Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial option. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; please do not send a complete article unless requested.
